You can see Riccardo is a pro just by the way he is so delicate with the controls and his head is unaffected by the lateral G's due to his strong neck muscles. Amazing to watch and so funny to see the reactions by his wife. This is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen on KZbin! What a sweet couple! One thing I noticed near the beginning of the video was that Patrese seems to have a comfort zone in the car that doesn't actually begin until he reaches 60 mph or so. It's like "starting the car" isn't just turning the ignition key, but tuirning the key and getting the car up to at least 60 mph. Then it is "started". His wife is adorable. They look like a fun couple. He's a mischievous guy, to say the least.

My second wife (Italian Heritage) bought a new Miata back in 1999 and the first time I drove it she mentioned my days when I raced sports cars (back in the late 60's and 70's) and asked for me to show her what her car would do. I pulled about the same thing Ricacardo did on his wife. She was screaming and laughing at the same time too! Wish I could have recorded it back then, but movie cameras were so much bigger then.
