I think auza is artificially giving high tech ninjas tech in place of hidden arts something that comes close to what the og ninjas have and t hey are researching ways to surpass the old arts with their discoveries . They managed to body all the other defectors and used them as a field test to measure and observe how each art functions and what its limits are .
