10:04 Yeah very rarely do the bad guys actually die. If a death occurs you'll know and it'll actually have a bigger impact. It's more so to do with Luffy crushing their dreams rather than just wanting to kill them. Since this anime is heavily leaning into dreams and ambition. When that goes taken away it's basically considered a fate worse than death.

its a typical shonen trope. Death doesn't really matter in shonen, what matters is "defeat", which can be interpreted as ruining their dreams/ambition as you point out

Considering how they had to make all of the special effects heavy fights (Luffy's gum gum stuff) in very low dim lighting to hide the bad job i'm definitely a bit concerned. Luffy vs Arlong was inside in a dark setting. Luffy vs the butler, once again in a dark place.

considering CGI costs they’ll probably go for prosthetics for the everyday scenes and keep the CGI for rumble ball. So I’m already setting my expectations to him looking more human than deer in the live action Also given his age/size they might consider his bigger humanoid size than the small ones. Kids grow up so will be hard to keep recasting. Crossed fingers for a good chopper execution as well

That beginning question about the favorite fight. That Arlong fight still holds up, even to some of us that are further ahead. It just held so much weight for Nami as a character, and not getting that satisfaction would have maybe diminished the story. The end so remember: Luffy wanted 10 members. They have a Sniper, Navigator, First Mate, Chef, and now a Doctor

I'm so excited for the Netflix's LA season 2. Everybody is sooo curious about how they'll do Chopper LA. They said they would use practical effects instead of just CGI. That mean they might have to find a GOOD little kid actor and dress him up like a reindeer. That'd meen it will be more human than animal, so less fluffy, hair only in its head, probably would wear a shirt, and be a little taller than normal chopper. That'd throw people off but that's the reality we have to accept. A re invention of Chopper for the sake of live action.
