Me when I joined Japanese Among Us and said Maronn instead of Maroon www 😂 (it wasn't the worst embarrassing thing ever. Actually... I think the worst was when I tried to say "dammit" and apparently said "damn you!" and everyone DEFINITELY laughed at me, okay, THAT is the worst one) but, as for the Amongus game, I'm proud I tried 😭. The people in the second room I joined were very friendly even though I didn't understand much.

2:31 I can differentiate those out by their tone. Kowai has the ‘’w ’’ sound more like’’u’’. Plus,the i isn’t doubled. And the a and o.

I’m a little confused. At the end, Han-san says: いいえ and it’s translated as yes. Shouldn’t いいえbe no?
@RiceBurgerStudios2 жыл бұрын
Great question!! In Japanese when it's specifically a negative question like: "Don't you~?", you'd have to say the opposite answer from English!! When you mean “No (you don’t)”, you would say “はい” to agree with the sentence the other person forms. When you mean “Yes (you do)”, you would say “いいえ” to disagree with the sentence! 😳 If you want to see more examples, your can maybe check one of our short videos on "Say はい to mean No" - you can maybe understand it better with it🙏✨
