Leave it to Belichick to do something totally unexpected... from being on the Pat McAfee Show every week, to hooking up with a beautiful 24 year old, to now taking this college job, he's very unpredictable. And the greatest coach of all time. Good luck in NC!

Bill looks genuinely happy to take this job. Good for him, man. The only thing more fitting is if he had an opportunity to coach at Army, Navy or Air Force. That would be as Bill Belichick as it gets for coaching football. I know he would love that, even if the wins weren't what we all are accustomed to.

I see a lot of comments about him keeping players. I agree there are a lot of players that will not play for coach but there are also more than enough that will. I would expect many NFL hopefuls to look at this as a chance to get a leg up on the competition as far as being NFL ready. He proved in the NFL you do not need the best roster. It only needs to be good enough.

Bill is innovating again. The NFL will lose allot of talent in coaching pool. What do coaches want - Their players properly molded, hard workers, listen - molding your own team, not dumb asses who know way less. MJ doesnt hurt. Go Heels! NIL has officially worked.
