Agreed, with all due respect. Not trying to bash your team, especially since you yourself admit that winning the SB this year is pretty unlikely. I get that this series is the optimistic view but they should still be somewhat realistic. I mean, one could say the best case scenario for *every* team is to win the SB this year, if you play it the way Rich is. Even with the Lions, I thought he went too far. Yes, best case scenario is they get over the hump they were so close to doing last year. But getting all those awards along the way is a stretch. When’s the last time a team had an OPOY, DPOY, DROY and coach of the year? I would guess it’s never happened. If he’d said each of those guys were in the *running* for those awards, like finalists, then I would’ve been like “yeah, that makes sense. That could happen in a best case scenario.”

@@righteousisthelord180 It's bound to not work all the time and yes, good teams WILL take advantage when it doesn't go well but there were times where MCDC makes an aggressive call that would have worked had Goff made a more accurate throw/the receiver not dropped the ball. I get that it can be off putting but for me as a Lions fan and a fan of watching the NFL for entertainment, those calls make the games more fun! And he doesn't do it as much as people exaggerate I feel, it's just blown up a bit because MCDC stands out with his calls.

Best case scenario: Vikings: finding out Mccarthy is not a bust and is a solid player Bears: finally getting 1 win against the Packers and barely missing the playoffs Packers: making it through a season not losing half their starters to hamstring injuries. Making the superbowl Lions: have a great season and NOT turn back into the Lions everyone knows and choking away a playoff game. Makes the superbowl

For most teams it will be a season ending injury to one of their stars, usually their QB, and I really don't think Rich wants to go there. The whole segment is in a way an homage to Walton, so going negative won't make sense.

Be hard with Detroits schedule. SB is every teams best case scenario. Realistic scenarios. Minnesota/Chicago have winning records. Both rookie QBs impress but have their growing pains (I knew Stroud would kill it, but that’s not the norm). GB, upsets Detroit and wins the North. Gets to 2nd round. Detroit, wins at least 11 games, wins North. I can’t see them being #1 seed with their schedule. Wins at least 4 games in the NFC North. Gibbs won’t get enough touches to OPY. I think Hutchinson’s ceiling is 15 sacks, probably less. Makes it to SB. Expect to see Hutchinsons best season this year or next.

The Commanders best case scenario has to run along the same lines as the Bears. I'll build a case for you. There's new ownership. We drafted what we hope to be our qb of the future and we're trying to overcome the ghost of RG3. The aura/vibe/energy in the building is electric and the players keep saying it feels different. I don’t see the Lions as the favorite in the division. Green Bay was straight up better than them by the end of the season and they filled all of their holes on paper. Including a better defensive staff. Even a top 20 defense makes the Packers the Super Bowl favorite from the nfc
