Absolutely and a lot of credit goes to Trevor. He suffered through last year and never through anybody under the bus. Took all the criticism and hate and stayed a great leader. This week he showed the fire that I've been looking for since we drafted him. Seems like this could be one of those great head coach/QB marriages that ends up with a lot of wins. Rich went from talking about how OSU would talk about it used to be a better rivalry when UM was good & saying "be careful what you wish for" to then urging OSU to bring Urban back. As big of a fiasco as Urban was last year there will absolutely be a college team that hires him if he decides he wants to coach again. It’ll probably be something like Lane Kiffin or Hugh Freeze had initially in some non-major school hiring him. But when he wins there, which he probably would because he’s won everywhere he’s been at the college level, and a few years have passed since the Jags a big program will hire him again. It isn’t a matter of if it could happen but a matter of if Urban wants to coach again, and if he does, when a program will make the jump. As we’ve seen time after time winning cures all. But to see Ohio State fans want to get rid of Ryan day is hilarious. They e been just as good all four years. It’s not like urban was winning titles every year there. Sure he won a title but otherwise they weren’t in the playoff again. Ryan got to the title game and they’ve been close to the playoff in other years. And even after losing to Michigan Ohio State still has an extremely realistic chance to get into the playoff anyways. Georgia, TCU and USC all have games they could absolutely lose. Georgia is certainly the least likely but this is also an LSU team that upset Alabama. So it’s possible. It’s completely possible to see the fans act like this towards Ryan day and the team to still get into the playoff. And all because of losing to Michigan twice. It’s incredible how when your team is good every year you lose sense of reality of what to expect. Anything besides winning the title every single year has people calling for your head. There are even crazy Alabama fans going after savan of all people. Just wild.
