I really like Rich, but as a fellow Jets fan, he's so delusional. How times this has he said this year, "if they lose this one, they're done." Well, the Jets go on to lose those games, and yet, he keeps saying the same exact thing. "If they lose this one, they're toast." I think the Jets could be 2-9 and he'll be saying the same thing. "If they lose this one, then they're really done." Rich, I know you don't read ANY of these comments, but if someone can get to you, let me tell you something: The Jets were done as soon as those trade talks for that locker room toxicity known as Aaron Rodgers began.

@junehanzawa516521 күн бұрын
@RobertBallz They already drafted one that's much better. One who won his last 17 games in college on a major football school in a power 5 conference. They averaged 37 points per game with him, and only a measly 17 point per game since and are 3-8 since. Think about that, they went 17-0 with that QB and are 3-8 since. That's how good he is. The only reason he fell to the Jets was that he got hurt late in the season (so no combines or pro day from him), the extremely deep QB class last year, and the deepest overall draft EVER due to the extra years because of Covid.

@@RobertBallz Which QB did they draft? Jordan Travis from Florida State. He was recruited by Louisville to be their next Lamar when he was leaving for the NFL. But the coaches there changed and he transffered to FSU. He beat Jaylen Daniels and his two 1st round WR's both times they played. Beat the #4 pick last year in QB Anthony Richardson (in one of AR's rare good games) and his 1st round WR. He beat another likely 1st QB this coming year in Dillon Gabriel in a shoot out in a Bowl game. And beat Clemson and Cade Klubnik (who some think could go in the 1st) AT Clemson. Something that had not happened in over a decade. And all he had was a 2nd round WR (for one year only) and nothing else but 6th rounders or later. And NONE could separate so his passes had to be near perfect everytime, while the others were often throwing to wide open receivers with all their speed beating lesser CB's in college. When a QB leads a team to an undefeated season and wins their power 5 conference (the ACC), are ranked #3 in the country, and they leave that team out of the college playoffs simply because that QB got hurt, says it as to how important and special he was.
@CpnCrunch21121 күн бұрын
Jets fan here, this hope that they're going to win "this" game is the same cope all season. Once they lost to the Patriots it was over. It made it clear that there's no leadership when you fail to even beat your rival who only had 1 win in the season. I'm checked out this season cause I've seen it before. They'll win a random meaningless game here and there to ruin their draft spot and do the same next year of hiring a bad coach, get a new QB in the draft that we can't develop cause of the coaching, rinse repeat. I'm just going to root for other teams at this point cause the Jets are pointless.

As a Texans fan, Jets are possibly winning. Depends how the Jets offense does against a good Houston defense. That Jets defense that smashed Houston and knocked out Stroud with a concussion last year is still there. No Diggs, no Collins. Sauce will easily shutdown Dell. The other WRs are no serious threat. The Texans OL isn’t able to give Stroud enough time in the pocket consistently. There is a good TE and Mixon is no joke. I see a 13-10 type game either way.

The Jets season is already over. I know Rich is a fan, but realistically they need to win 10 games to even go to the playoffs. Maybe 9 if they're very lucky, and they're not magically going 8 - 1 or 7 - 2 the last 9 games of the season. They're tied for 2nd to last in the AFC (AFC East is horrible + the Titans, Raiders, Browns, Jags). They should tank for a QB, or at least draft capital because Rodgers isn't it, is only getting older and the Raiders / Browns / Titans / Dolphins(?) are also in the QB market... and its a loaded college QB year (Ward, Sanders, Allar, Rourke, Dart, Altmyer, etc). If they "turn it around a little bit" and go 5 - 4 the last 9 games, all they do is end up is missing the playoffs, and don't have a good draft pick... again. Classic Jets.
