That's the whole AFC. Most of the conference is good teams so they all have tough schedules playing each other. Ironically, the only team we can be relatively sure is going to be bad in the AFC is the Patriots.

Ravens have the capability to start 5-0 and for this guy to say they could start 1-4 is poor analysis. He most likely believes the one win will be the Raiders. We have no idea if KC fixed their run defense. The Ravens with Lamar at qb dominate against NFC teams. The Bills have new wrs and the Bengals offense have been stuffed by the Ravens defense for 5 games straight since 2021.

Look at Week 16 when the Ravens played the 49ers, that'll tell you all you need to know. Not to mention CMC was surrounded by Purdy, Kittle, Deebo, Trent Williams, and Aiyuk. Lamar lost his best weapon Mark Andrews, his best RBs in JK Dobbins and Keaton Mitchell, the Offensive Line was a mess in pass protection (They were platooning both the LT and RTs for god's sake), and the Ravens had the NFL's toughest schedule with 14 of 17 games against teams over 500. If you didn't have Lamar as the MVP after what he did against the Niners and Dolphins with 2 MVP candidates on each team (Tua, and Tyreek, plus Brock, and CMC) then you are out of your mind.

Are you implying CMC is a "system back" lol? The entire 49ers offense is based around CMC just like the Ravens are based around Lamar. Either team would crumble without their respective player. It's not absurd to argue CMC was the better football player. Place these players in a different era and the honors likely go to CMC. Lamar won MVP because casuals only watch through the lens of the qb position.

He won it because of the impact he had on that offense, in a new system with a more pro-style offense that he hadn't run in 6 years, with two of his best weapons out for the season, and the Offensive Line platooning tackles for most of the season, being in the hardest division in football, which the hardest schedule in football. That man deserved the MVP Award. I know CMC is a great player but the different between him and Lamar is simple. CMC doesn't have to be the best player on the 49ers offense in order to win because they have Purdy, Deebo, Kittle, etc. Lamar must be their best player especially when Mark Andrews and Keaton Mitchell were lost for the season due to injury.
