I've read other books by Agatha Christie, and I might read them again for clarity, but she doesn't paint the scenes in a way where you could decode them. A detective can solve the mystery by noticing people's tone of speaking and body language however we don't see that in her books which is why we can't decode it with the detective. But nevertheless, her reasonings are always satisfying. Another thing, STEPHANIE PLS I WANT YOU TO NARRATE THE REST OF ACOTAR I'M WAITING FEVERSHLY!!!

It's the fact for the whole time in the movie, I was like it's either the mom or the child. Yes, the kid. It's most times the least ones you'd expected. I really enjoy the dialogues tho, and I could get why they sounded like a robot to some people but I've watched many movies like this since childhood now adult, and it is really to give off that cliche detective vibes and mystery in the way they speak. Even my mother would ask why I speak like this because up till now I sometimes speak in tounges or riddles as my friends would call them and no one understands where or what I'm getting at, maybe that's why I could understand the film in its simplicity and enjoy the dialogues. I must admit in slight contradictions, that a few parts were cringy especially the way the mother handled her accusations. Other than that...Thank you Stephanie for another awesome and informative recap.
