Honestly, I absolutely despise it when parents force something on to you, blame you if it isn’t going well, and especially when you tell them that you don’t even want to do it and they tell you “ I’m doing what’s best for you, you’ll thank me when you’re older.” Edit: Some of you guys are missing the point. As well as the message of never torturing yourself just to please others, the other message is to be grateful for what you have and never compare your life to another. Being rich isn't important; you should be grateful you have family, a roof over your head etc, and you should never pressure those you love just to please others as comparing to others is never healthy; the most important is supporting your peers or children to follow what they want in life! If you’re not sure what field you want to go into, you can take classes there to help you out, and it’s a great way to save money so you don’t end up with a bunch of debt. This video is relatable to my life like my mom forced me to take Taekwondo, Dance, and Piano classes.
