I get wanting ownership in a team but atp when does it become a conflict of interest if you're still playing and trading people. If you're the partial owner of the knicks but you get traded what happens to all that? It's a nice thought but to make that work with the way trades are setup on top of the conflict of interest thing I don't think it's a feasible thing in the near future at least.
