I know wives of millionaires who are frugal yet also love fashion who do buy identical copies. One person actually went into a Dior boutique wearing a fake bag and she got so much praise for her 'beautiful' bag. It was hilarious 😂. Yes some designer goods do offer good quality products but it has been shown by many artisans that the cost to make their goods are just a tiny fraction of the big price they push to the public. Some brands lile Hermes even play mind games to get rich people hooked on their goods.It's the greatest scam of all time. Nothing but engineered luxury for those who are into conspicuous consumption. So I think good for those who are able to buy good fakes. Do what makes you happy. At the end of the day it is your money and for you to spend it as how you please and what works best for you.

I have handbags that I purchased in 1998 thru 2010, Chanel, Louis Vuitton Neverfull, Fendi, and 5 Gucci handbags. I worked at a fortune 500 company and I hung out with a lot of people whose family has money. I'll never forget going to dinner in chinatown with a few friends from work. I never knew the handbags and luxury watches they wore were fakes. This opened up a whole new world to me. They put me onto several sites that sell 1:1 luxury items. Last year I went on a family trip to France and Italy and that was the first time since 2012, that I purchase a few handbags (Celine, YSL and Furla). So ladies save your money on these luxury bags because the quality of these luxury brands are not worth the thousands of dollars they are asking you to spend.

I’m a professional organizer so I’m always organizing the closet and I know when they have a fake bag it’s usually trendy bags that they don’t think they’re gonna last long or have a lot of resale value, but they still want to look current. But all of the classic bags are usually real.

Honestly, this really ISN'T new. Before social media became very hyped up, and the fashion magazines were where you got your fashion news and style ideas, I distinctly remember reading an article about well-to-do and wealthy women choosing to purchase high-end replica designer bags and their reasoning in doing so was the fact that they have multiple events that they attend both socially and business purposes and and so they likely only wear said designer bag once or carry it seldomly. They felt it was more practical to use the money that would have gone towards an authentic designer bag towards their business or stocks/investments while they can still be stylish particularly in regards to wearing the designer item that they like by just purchasing high-end replicas. They said that the replicas are so mirror image that they couldn't tell the difference between the authentic bags that they already owned compared to the mirror Image replica if not for the fact that they purchased it themselves. Overall, I say to each his or her own.

Even when the real and fake are placed side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. You have to do this kind of forensic level investigation, which only shows that the fake kislux is very impressive and the real thing is really not worth the price. To be honest most of the good dupes are more likely made from the same sweat shop or factory the real ones are made from so it’s technically the real thing 😂 lmao. I also bought 2 good quality dupes in Asia for like about $40. One of them look extremely close to the original. I’m guessing it’s easier to fake since it’s a black classic luxury bag. One can only tell it’s fake if they open the bag. The other one looks great but doesn’t look like the usual look the brand usually has but I mostly for casual wear and the logo is huge but black on a black bag so not too obvious.

Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. Shockingly I’ve seen vlogs that even in Japan fakes entered the preloved market and I’ve watched a content where this vlogger had her maid/ videographer buy a fake Birkin in Japan and even featured a store where Birkins were just hanging on clothes racks than being kept under glass. What do I do to address these issues? I’ve learned not but buy what half of the population is raving for which make my purchase look one of a kind. And if I do buy something popular I’ll make sure it won’t be in a color where everyone is crazy over like black or beige. Lastly if I’ll hang a bag charm, it will never be a Labubu. It has to be a charm that came from the brand. These kid stuff toys really degrade the integrity of the bag in my opinion. Now everything has a silly charm on their bag. 😮
