Well help out somewhere but our local food bank is a mess. They robbed us of our food distribution, they grab all the food and take it down to their counting house where it rots before being given to those in need at great risk to the elderly because it had rotted and some of the elder have diminished senses. When we used to get the food it was distributed within hours and under ice -If I needed more Ice, I bought more ice and got it to people who perhaps had to be asked if they could help with the over abundance because they were reluctant to admit a need. The food went to those who would need and use it. Now, sadly, no more. SLO 'food bank' is vile!

Plastic surgery is meant to be for injuries /corrective issues. All the people here were able to have it done because of greedy unethical doctors. It should be made ilegal and the doctors who change people beyond all recognition should lose their ability to ever practice again. (Transplant patients have to see councillors beforehand but these people can wake up looking like a complete stranger with no warnings about how the human brain will process and cope with that)

That's what I always say, people born with or who develop a condition later that makes them look very different or even hard to look at, aren't the real freaks, it's those who have tons of plastic surgeries that make them hard to look at, that are the real freaks! I had been hit with a beer bottle at the Philadelphia Wing Bowl (Google it) that I was working at, and the glass got stuck in my face. The scar healed weirdly, so I had a plastic surgeon fix it. It's still there, but it is barely noticeable, unless I get sunburn, which is rare.

The Ken-Doll people on this list floor me. Have they never heard of exercise? I discovered it, and I was over 40. I was an okay flabby lump utterly jazzed by my new proportions and high energy level. And it wasn't hard and I didn't blow huge chunks of time at aerobics classes. A Nautilus circuit takes less than an hour and if you get the textbooks put out by the company you get exactly what you're supposed to off the machines. Admission: I can't use free weights because of a permanent balance problem. The other thing I did was walk home from work. Put my clothes in the washer and dive into the bathtub. Heaven. One advantage of all those silicone muscle replacements: You don't need a bulletproof vest ....
