I'm proud of Luther. I've seen him evolve over the past 20 years from a punk rocker to a world class guitar player. His dad would be proud. He always was.

World Class for sure...When I first heard him play with a slide , I thought his name may of been Allman lol..

love seeing rich smiling and enjoying it. i seen the crowes 28 times,rich solo twice and the brotherhood 4 times. the boys can stand alone and quite well at that.however,it's much better when their together.

Really nice! I always loved the Rich & Luther lineup. Good to see them both looking and playing well...

I was at that Wanee and one of the main reasons was Rich Robinson hoping to see with Luther Dickinson and got one song but sweet . The other reasons were many I loved it . I get to see Rich Robinson with Bad Company at Noblesville then solo in Cincinnati Ohio and Ferdinand Indiana . My son and I got meet Luther Dickinson in Louisville , Kentucky and my son got to meet Luther Dickinson . Wanee next year for sure .

Ever heard “high falls” by the Allman Bros? If not, check it out. You see where they got it. Not knocking, just sayin. Nothing wrong by being influenced/inspired by the Allmans!

Man.... Rich's smile is just beautiful. Didn't see that very often in the Crowes. So nice to see him happy. And Luther is just a killer! Nice to see Marc back in the fold now too.

hippydippy couldn’t agree more.. I literally just caught Magpie this past weekend and Rich was definitely enjoying himself.. him and Marc were musically made for each other.. blew me away

hippydippy they hit the new album hard and heavy. They’ve put together some really good stuff. I got a killer video of them covering some Blind Faith as well.

awesome tune....the tour with Luther was THE best Crowes show ever....like a revival of rock and roll...and the organ solo here is great-

Southern Harmony and Amorica....what am i missing? I've got all the discs , even the one with the out takes. are you talking about live shows or recordings?...thanks-
@chanchaokiitos11848 жыл бұрын
Ed White And Three Snakes...the tours and records were both awesome...the classic period of The Crowes...I have to admit though, that I really liked Luther as well...those last albums they put out were great, and so were the shows with this guy.
@edwhite74758 жыл бұрын
Three Snakes and 'By Your Side' too.....i saw them with Jeff Cease in '90 or so? and then 2012 and 2013? i guess...i loose track....but Luther was SO damn good....and he ONLY played slide, and i left there feeling ten feet tall....the tour with Jackie?....well I just left....he's great, no doubt, i listened to some of his solo stuff before the show for months, and i was excited about him being on the tour....but it just didnt seem as focused....the Robinson's were tired of the whole thing, seemed to me....but their Dad had just passed the day before, so maybe they were dealing with that too...a lot of bad emotions there.
@chanchaokiitos11848 жыл бұрын
Ed White Yeah, Greene is a great musician and a perfect fit for Trigger Hippie (which he sadly left), but w/The Crowes it was a different story...or maybe just bad timing, like you said. Audley Freed is also a very good player, but for some reason I never liked him, when he was part of The Crowes...
@TheKosmikid3 жыл бұрын
Very nice version of this song. I had a chance to see the Black Crowes when they toured with Luther. It was at a festival with a hard shut down at 11 and they didn’t go on until 9:25 so I think they tried to get as many songs into the set as they could so there was less jamming. It was still a phenomenal show and the best of the 5 times I’ve seen them.

Reading some of these comments make me laugh. I, too, love MARC FORD, however, sorry to say but LUTHER DICKINSON is as badass on the guitar as anyone ALIVE. He just is. And a helluva a level headed cool ass dude too. Just saying. This was a wicked version. Great keyboard work too.
