@bondalero00743 жыл бұрын
Thanks, the Skate Bible is one I need to get even saw a video about it. I had got the Jim Phillips book because I’ve always been his #1 fan along with Pushead, & VCJ. The 80’s where such a great era in skateboarding because of graphics & shapes which made each deck a work of art itself. Once big pants & small wheels hit the scene it only got worse with the popsicle craze that I personally found so boring so I looked and searched for those older boards or Re-issues like yourself and many others.@@richardpatmoreart7099

I have almost 100. Or 100.. but my wife thinks I have over. I have like mixed boards. From original decks to reissue decks. And some cheap boards or bootleg look alikes... but kool collection you have there.. I wish we had skateboard parks here in Maine. But finally something happening for Bangor Maine to have there home made park be rebuilt and I guess finally Tony hawk foundation is helping it out. But it's far away from where I live. But I was skateboarding back then in late 80s and early 90s then I had to get a job between years because I graduated from high school in 93 and I had my first son in 94.. i been threw hell and back. 3rd marriage now.. luckily no kids with second exwife.. but 2 adult kids from my first exwife and 3 lil kids now with wife I'm with now.. I was homeless before but I kept my skateboard collection in storage in my moms boyfriend garage.. I was homeless because of paying child support.. but I manage to live threw it all. Now I'm 46 oldfart now.. I'm on SSI/SSDI now for income. Sucks because I cant give much to my wife and my lil kids I have now. I was homeless from 2007-2012.. but I manage to keep my collection for my lil kids..

I’m the same age as you and enjoy skating now even more than I did when I was young. Shuts everything off for a while and makes you focus.
