Beautiful, it reminds me of this verse: " And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? " - Matthew 16:26

Thanks for reminding us how poor we are and how rich we can be. True Riches can be found, not earned, not steal. There are real treasures in our heart that are yet to be found. A journey of riches and richness is what we truly need to embark.

...more along the lines of using spoken word as a medium to push a point across to the listener, and making sure that point is loud and crystal clear. The wordplay itself is secondary to this, used to re-enforce the point throughout, but not as a medium on it's own. Oh, and if you like slow poetry, check out Benjamin Zephaniah, a poet, his wordplay is truly beautiful, though he has a strong Jamaican accent which can be hard to understand. Well done Josiah, lovely piece. (in my opinion!)

"20 cent man in a thousand dollar jacket" That certainly made me think for a second. You called it third world which is the only way to describe it. Holding value not to the jacket who's quality is equal to his norms but marketed as luxury where money can be made. He's happier than the man who is able to buy the thousand dollar jacket without using money as a scale.

Hi Yu Jie! Thank you so much for your comment! Personally, I really respect those who speak their minds. I'm sorry that you didn't really understand the content of this video, because our intentions were to express something that we knew would help inspire others and get them to think. To an extent, I think we've achieved this because many have written in to us as well to say how much they've enjoyed the video. This piece was written and done in the form of "Spoken Word", which has a tendency

This is truly beautiful, well written and better spoken. I am wondering if you might be able to direct me to the background music. I know you said previously it was from premium beats, but there are many tracks on the site. Do you have a link, or possibly a link to a youtube video with only the music? Thank you, and please continue writing and making these.

That is just your opinion, Ang. I respect it, but personally entirely disagree with it. I was writing a comment about how beautifully clear this is when I saw your comment! I find this a clear, beautifully presented spoken word piece that is moving on so many different levels. It's all about preference. You obviously prefer spoken word that has a slower rhythm to it, and perhaps more exaggeration on all the actual wordplay itself. I may be wrong, but I think what Josiah was going for here is...
