people saying they were forcing it...... He was shucking and jiving! it was fucking hilarious! they never said he was hacking it up, they bashed him for using phony urban diction and accent.

Rich Vos is one of the most under-rated comics going, he kills, but his interview skills show whay he isn't Louis CK big.

how is saying "don't lie" trying to be black? they're definitely reaching pretty far for this bit. i think vos did pretty well
@merces47letifer45 жыл бұрын
You clearly haven't grown up around a lot of blacks. That "don' lieeee" shit is pretty common.

i'm canadian (& black) and a lil confused why the two alt-right jocks kept insisting vos was "talking black". the whole set he sounded like a new york italian to me. also, the irony that anthony's cracking on vos meanwhile his two attempts at stand up later on were the WORST ever. lol then he tried to revive his career being an alex jones wannabe pundit. now THAT was funny.
@hauolihennig78192 жыл бұрын
Listen to Nick dipaolo for New York Italian, Vos sounded like a NYC Jew talking ebonics for sure, vos admitted he pandered to the black audience.

Watch Vos do his standup then look at this, big difference. "Shiii" "Brothas" "ya knoww wha I mean"
@misterhappy54622 жыл бұрын
@@hauolihennig7819 "pandering" in the sense of the content of his jokes, sure. most comedians do that. but pretending that he was 'forcing' slang was stretching it. once again he just sounded like a new yorker from brooklyn. o&a had a standard angry-white-male type show so i understand they had to put on an act for their fanbase but i just thought it was silly. now if you want to hear an example of a white guy trying wayyy too hard, listen to any vanilla ice interview from the early 90s (or carson daly interviewing rappers in the 2000s). now THAT was cringe lmao
@hauolihennig78192 жыл бұрын
@@misterhappy5462 lol dude listen to Gary Owen for fringe either, but another video of this Vos said he regretted catering to this audience because he was the 1st white guy on def jam(Jew)
@hauolihennig78192 жыл бұрын
@@misterhappy5462 your Canadian black not American black, that is no doubt a "live at Apollo" black pandering. And in no way he sounded like a regular new Yorker, again listen to Vos regular standup and then this,big difference, learn ebonics and black American speak before you reply idiot

Wow. I didn't think any of the comments made were funny or in good taste. There was a ton of generalization and almost racist I like Rich Vos though.
