He was just saying he didn't need the make-up. He was dynamite in MI-5/Spooks. I learned a lot from his, and all characters. He mentions Spooks! I knew he was OCD-like. That's what makes him so good!

I am going to make myself so unpopular now. In my defence I would say I have followed Richard’s career for years and was very frustrated at the wait (I’m a Brit living in the U.K.) for Berlin Station to be aired here. The plot is incomprehensible. A lot of fast movement for nothing, and perhaps there is a reason unknown to me as yet on episode 3, but he’s wooden. I’m praying it’s part of the plot,

Maybe you should give it another try once it's out on DVD or streaming services. I found the plot easy to follow, so maybe you missed some information along the way? I am not patronising you, but it happens to me sometimes that I suddenly go "oh hang on, what did I miss, this makes no sense". As for the "wooden" comment. Yes, Richard is "wooden" on TV but that is mainly down to him being a stage actor. I have said that for years (and I am getting a lot of hate for it, too). Personally, I think he is better off on stage but I love seeing him on TV nevertheless.
