Mr. Armitage is simply stunning - I'm lost for words - I can't breathe. Thank you so so much for this amazing delight. Ms Boland, your interviewing skills are second to none; the interview is perfectly balanced between in-depth questions and fun, with an impeccable understanding of when to hold back and when to ask again for clarification (for the fans!). Sitting here in Denmark (am I the only one?), amazed, impressed, stunned ...

Hi Gang, Still editing Part 3. Thanks for all the insightful comments. I will be mindful of the background music in part 3. I know that we are all not listening on the same device. I will bring it down for Pt 3, but it has to be there (for our reasons). But, here is what I am planning. When Part 3 and then the Outtakes come out, I plan on posting a complete version featuring all 3 episodes in one with NO music. That will be just for you, so you can make clean ringtones, clips, etc, without music playing. Hope that sounds good to you. Marlise and I are so thrilled with all of you and the positive vibe we have all felt this week. Look for Part 3 sometime this weekend! All the best!

Wow.... yes, I have to agree with the others, great job Marlise! You have such a relaxing way about you and it really feels like RA is enjoying himself more than he does in his other interviews (he's not rude there mind you, always polite). Learned two things I didn't know about him either: he was a former tap dancer (wish I could see him perform that!) and an avid lit geek (yay!). Great questions but if you meantioned Austen and Gaskell, I wish you could have brought up Georgette Heyer. I'm just assuming but I THINK he's a fan given how he's lent his voice to two or more Heyer audio books.

Recently RA took a picture where he, as a joke, pretended to hang himself with his necktie. You know, the one every man does at least once in his lifetime? Certain fans freaked out, thought it was in "poor taste to joke about suicide," etc. He will get directly exposed to a fanbase that has already, repeatedly, proven itself to be full of very sensitive people. Then there is the fact that fans have tried to draw him into their online drama before. And there is the fact that every single personal thing he posts will be picked apart, magnified and mostly likely misinterpreted. Just look at the furor that occurred from someone else tweeting about him going to see a movie with a cast mate. Seriously, distance protects him and us. And then there's way it will cut into his personal time away from celebrity. Right now he can walk away from celebrity for days, even weeks at a time. Twitter is a leash with fans checking daily and complaining when he doesn't post. And in the end is it going to do anything for him professionally? No. Seriously, what got Liam Neeson his eight-figure paychecks was his work. Not any Facebook page or Twitter feed. It's too much hassle for too little reward. If they want to set up something his publicist runs, I think that will work. But I think him running his own feed would be a mistake.
@englishlady97973 жыл бұрын
There was an Episode of the British TV drama about M1-5 which he was in for 2 years in which he was asked to stand on a chair and put his head in a noose. It wasn't a joke scene, it was meant to be his character attempting suicide in prison. He was also waterboarded- for real- for that series. He's done some really dark, really extreme things in the course of his career for various roles.

"Who wants to know what I think about anything!" Actually very wise words. Considering how many actors and celebrities love to spout off about things they know almost nothing about, and aren't qualified to comment on. I love how RA isn't one of those actors who is always commenting on politics/current affairs and everything.

This comment is not for fans of him, but for him. Richard Armitage, not to go into a completely different topic from this particular moment of the past. Sorry for my ridiculously long comments. I'm an elaborate person sometimes, but according to you probably by now, it's practically all the time. How is it you still don't get it?!! Politics generally are not intended to be funny and certainly not funny business, except for political comics! Politics is a very serious thing, and people who are political have reasons for it, not to be cruel and harsh, like you'd think! That's what politics is all about! When it comes to voting for a president of a nation, you have to have some kind of purpose instead of only for popularity! Not everyone involved in some politics are as cruel as you think! They will have reasons when they have to take care of certain situations when something's bad, and there are times when they'll strongly make a purpose to support freedom, religion, and faith. You don't understand all of the politics, so you shouldn't assume anything you don't know about or get involved, not even as little as a small conversation about it! The voting in this video does not have to be political at all, cause this non-serious voting has nothing to do with politics, of course. If you think people who are political are just harsh for no reason, you're totally wrong!!! They're not trying to combine faith with politics, and even if they did, they wouldn't make it all corrupted and lopsided! That's what you'd think cause you know nothing or understand at all what's really going on!!! Looks a lot like to me, you support the unfairness that the democrats have sometimes! It's not just the republicans! To vote for a president at election time, people have to be smart or at least smart enough to vote for the proper person or know who they're voting for and their purpose of who they're voting for. Voting for popularity and to simply just get someone in history books in the future is a reasonless purpose to vote, during election. There's a democratic, republican, and an either/or side (which is called independent). And if you're not into politics cause you think it's just cruel and harsh, then you don't vote at all and be a non-voter. I'm not too political either, but at least I'm knowledgeable enough to know and understand what I'm doing or who I'm voting for, if I do vote, so that I'll not be someone trying to get somebody in the history books or only vote for popularity! If you completely dislike or hate politics, maybe it's best you don't vote at all in your life. I get it, you're used to the peaceful life you had while growing up in your Britain hometown, not allowed to have guns or any other weapons, and you probably think everywhere has to be the same way. I understand people need to get along, but sometimes some of us need weapons to defend ourselves from being attacked, in this world. To me, banning guns and other weapons is like banning defenses, so that way, when you need to defend yourself, you'll have no defenses around handy! Oh, but wait a minute, you used guns (regardless of real or fake), yet you're so afraid to use them! Why the heck can't you make up your mind, man?!! You don't love and use guns and other weapons, but are yet so afraid to use them!!! It's either you love and use them without being so afraid of them after being trained in your life how to use them, or if you are so afraid of them, you don't use one at all, not even if it's fake! How about if you're so afraid of using one, you stop using it completely?!! But that doesn't mean you have to be like lots of other people to strongly support banning guns and other weapons!!! Not everyone uses them for violence, some use them for defense or self-defense!! By the way Richard, I read somewhere online you strongly support Obama Care. I understand health care is important to many people, except there are some people who don't really need one or a doctor, cause they're healthy. But Obama Care should not be a major important one to rely on!! A real and more helpful healthcare is more important than Obama Care!! You obviously don't know what its purposes are, other than health! Trust me, maybe Obama Care matters a lot to you, which I already know I can't change that, but keep in mind sometime to realize it's really not as important as other more important healthcares that exists out there!! All you seem to care about is popularity and nothing necessarily important! Why don't you learn the deep within of info about Obama Care before ever feeling sorry for it?!! Why can't anything matter to you?!!! Don't you ever care about anything like some of us ordinary people in the world might, other than popularity and popular talks and thoughts from so many others?!!! How about you try caring about at least someone in your life who's not popular?!!! They matter too!!!! You need to wake up and see the real world! Stop being so mentally and verbally weak enough to say "yes" to everyone about everything!! Why don't you learn to say "no" to defend what's right, especially for yourself sometimes! It's not so bad a word to say like you'd assume!
