yep, this is one of those questions that has multiple "right" answers - original comic - saving a kid from a nuke bomb test. TV show - trying to recreate "emergency" strength. MCU - experiment gone awry, and that's just the ones I'm aware of.

In the tv show ... a Gamma Radiation experiment turned David Bruce Banner into the Hulk. In the original comic ... a nuclear test explosion bathed Robert Bruce Banner in Gamma Radiation while he was saving Rick Jones ... turning him into the Hulk. . i really do appreciate why they have rosie on the show, but il be honest, every single time shes on one of these types of panel shows i have to immediatly close it because i end up only cringing and not laughing because of her disability i just never find anything she says funny, its awfull, but it completly ruins her timing and delivery which are both incredibly important parts of verbal humour, she just (through no fault of her own) kills any humour in a situation the moment she starts talking, and to me it always feels like the other panelists and the host (be it car or a host on a different program) know this, they know the joke is over and have to jsut sort of roll with it and move on, every time she talks ALL the others just shut up, wait for her to finish, then move onto the enxt thing cos they know the last joke is dead i always just end up feeling bad for her, and not laughing, which isnt something i want out of a comedy show shes a lovely person, and she genuinly DOES understand humour and know how to be funny BUT the nature of her disability (for me at least) makes it impossible

Rosie Jones wasted The Big Fat Quiz for me this time. I have watched all of them. Rosie has disability that also is unsuited for comedy panel shows, where timing and delivery are two most vital requirement. Just for sake of including a perso that does lack on both, for being disable is wasteful. I think she would be good on serious/general talk shows, not comedy. Even in comedy, she can do with lot more visual mediums like placards or tablets with video, complementing with her voice. That would work. Otherwise audience have to wait for long to get punchline delivered, and even then can't understand much of it.

She's also just really not suited to big fat quiz owing partly to her disability but mainly to her style of comedy. Just feels like she was shoehorned in to a show that isn't really for her.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't stand Rosie. She's not funny, she's loud. She has a disability yes, but there's far funnier comedians who are disabled than her. She just screams and dominates everything around her. Plus I can't stand waiting a week for her to finish a damn sentence. They only brought her on for diversity.
@decodolly15352 жыл бұрын
I so agree, I don't find her at all funny. That's my personal taste but, for a professional comic, she doesn't seem at all able to read an audience. Other comedians realise when a joke isn't going over and they change things up, Rosie just keeps on & on & on. I'm sure the BBC issue an edict of "She has a speech impairment, no-one may interrupt!" so when she's on a BBC show it ends up with other great comics sitting in silence while she beats a single, quite poor, gag to death for 20 minutes.
