Richard Bona and his song "Dina Lam"... The performance is from a Steps Ahead live at Jazz festival Vitoria 2005...
lyrics (thanks to Gruuvin1):
Mother, I would not exist without you
You are all cortesy and respectful to everyone and everything
You are a Queen
Now I'm sure of that
Rising children, a toil without any crown
Now, of that I'm sure
Years have come and gone
Now, you're tired and
You may finally have some rest

This is such a beautiful example of a master musician practicing his crat as art, that it almost makes no sense to comment on its content! It should be listened to, over and again! Thank you so much for posting this!

This is actually somewhat of a hymn, a prayer or a homage to 'the mother' as a figure of adoration for what it represents (or at least, should) to everyone.

@keemer08 "Dina Lam" means "My name". This song is a celebration for all the mothers. The beginning starts as sort of a prayer. Then talks about the past, about all the difficulties and deceptions his mother may have suffered. The second : "Mother, I would not exist without you. You are courteous and respectful to everyone and everything. You are a Queen. You toiled and raised your children without a crown. Years have come and gone. Now, you're tired and may finally have your rest. BEAUTIFUL!

@HermanTheMole - I guess for some ignorance is bliss, but FOR ME, I like an understanding, and to know what someone is singing and saying. They could be saying anything. So THAT'S HOW I FEEL, AND I'M GLAD TO EXPRESS IT, JUST BECAUSE I CAN, as I see there were many, who didn't post here, who were even more moved and more appreciative to know the words!
