EA wrc was not supposed to be realistic, it is a simcade made to be approachable but it was rushed to get it out for holiday season@@doubleslitenigma

still wonder HOW... this still looks 10x better than the newest upcomiing wrc game... maybe it is the measurements and all little details within the physics and stuff... even the new wrc uses the newest unreal engine it still looks worse compared to these RBR stages... there just is something that makes it feel like more real and realistic than anything else

It's unbelievable what modders can do with such an old engine. I can't even imagine how many hours it takes to create a stage like this. It looks great when you're moving, but when you stop the car.. Then it shows how dated the graphic engine is. Anyway this is still a great game :D

That's just completely false. Nobody's driven the actual game yet and looks wise, the latest gameplay footage just flat out looks better. Also, it's not using the latest unreal engine 5 rather it's using UE4.

Unreal engine is GARBAGE. But i think the new WRC game looks so bad because it's not really a new game. It looks like they ported WRC Generations into Unreal Engine and called it a day.

@@Scalibur_Greg Harju stage was over 2 year project and it is less than 2km... but it has real data from the town, i mean they asked from the city hall they got all the data for landscape for free!

Just installing it as I type this and can’t wait to dig in to it as a noob. With that said I have been on iRacing for many years but that’s on racing tracks and GT3 cars among other series. My first rally game was on keyboard and it was Collin Macree Rally back in the day. Living in Sweden you just can’t ignore how huge rally is here. As a 42 year old that with just couple of hours at night this is going to be a task to learn and drive. I will upload videos of my embarrassing progress on my channel so I can look back and see the progress. Non the less great driving 😊

Amazing driving skills. Love this stage, it does look daunting lol but I’m good try this one out. I love love love the scenery and the stage in general looks so realistic. The way the car handle and the effects are amazingly realistic. This simulation is way better wrc, wrc gen etc etc. it may be an old game but the community has keep this sim alive for years and lot more years to come I hope.

Did you tweak anything regarding the colors? Your game looks like it has more contrast and saturation than mine like it has HDR. Did you use Reshade?

Magic HDR is a filter which to me makes the biggest difference. I use it in every game.

Yes, it's a RSF mod with added ReShade. I used install guide from this guy kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHe2dp5pfp10eq8 ;) Hope this will help.
