I grew up listening to old time radio and the detective shows were always my favorite! Thank you for putting together this little treasure collection of rare gems.

Yes I agree for me...I love them at bedtime too, lol. I also love them in the car on long trips ect.. Better things from better times. Iys amazing...entertainment, better than most all of the trash comming out today--destroyed star wars, completely deztroyed Dr Who and lame stupid series of all types. But all this drama, comedy that makes me laugh to tears, suspense that makes me too excited to sleep even...all without one single Cuss world, especially the F word every other word and not just by sailors and dock workers but even Women!!.all that without them feeling the need to instruct on the politically acceptable way or new acceptable communist line.. All in all better entertainment better entertainers and just plain better people meaning far better life better times...

No real suprise if one considers the age of the recordings , I think it actually adds to the experience.

I **love** when I look at the comments on these old shows and see the Boomers have crawled out from under their rocks to grouse how those were better times. It's so **nice** to see someone long for open racism, women with no autonomy, puritanical living, and the ability to just be a phobic ass and feel good about it. It's so **heartening**. (Rolls eyes) You can enjoy the shows and the aesthetic without wishing for all the awful shit to come back, you know.

Sorry pal, you've got the wrong generation! Boomers grew up watching TV not listening to the radio.

Yeah, you don’t even have the right generation and you’re still full of it. Take your fictional “perfect” oh so enlightened modern society where no one is mean to idjit snowflakes and go peddle it somewhere else. I love you Gen X,Y,Z,Q bunch who think there’s no more racism, and think diseased tattooed tinder sluts are superior to people who had actual morals. As for “women with no autonomy” women haven’t changed, there’s only more weakling feminine men. If the shoe fits…! 😂🤣

Imagine the homogeny and higher trust society with lower divorce rates.
