Richard Feinman is my favourite scientist of all time. He was quite a character, with his bongo drums and Dodge van complete with Feynman diagrams on it.

Yes, but since you don't understand any of his work, what does that really mean? Bongos? ;-)
@jtveg
@jtveg 2 жыл бұрын
@@schmetterling4477 Yes, indeed bongos. The fact that he played the bongos, and that he drove around in a van with Feynman diagrams painted on the side of it, and how broke into the safes of his colleagues at the Manhattan Project to show them how insecure they were, and that he wanted to make a good will visit to the USSR in later life, and how with a simple demonstration using only a glass of cold water in front of the televised Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster Commission he revealed how the O Rings lost their elasticity in low temperatures. His ability to explain complex problems in simple terms that anyone could understand is what distinguished him from other extraordinary physicists plus his down to earth attitude on life. It was this ability of his and his enthusiasm for understanding the physical world and an eagerness to share it in a humble way is what I particularly like about him. Feynman always had a smile on his face, especially when explaining something. P.S. What makes you think I don't know anything about his work?

Never really considered the personal state of enjoyment in discussing the nuances of thermodynamics and vibration. It is rather interesting to think of how atoms are behaving at the quantum level. Hank Pym would be proud :-).

There is a full interview I think on youtube. An hour long, if you like to listen to him.

Would have liked to watch your video, but the insanely inane "music" added makes this unbearable.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. However, I am unable to adjust the music at this time. Also, with well over 35,000 views and you being the first to point out an issue with the background music, you may try adjusting things from your end. Thanks again ~P
