If you are wondering about a transIation and the meaning of the lyrics. In summary, it's a Samoan love song acknowledging the challenges of life, marriage, family and the redeeming act of forgiveness and reconciliation through their Christian faith. The lyrics contains Samoan proverbial expressions in regards to this mutual and redemptive love.

My belonge friends likes to make fun of our language which it doesn't bother me, I just wish the whole world notice us, then belonge people looking at us like we're Mexicans, but I'm trying everyday praising the Lord, trying to stay positive through out my life....GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER...

A very beautiful song which appeals to me immediately. I live in the Netherlands for years but my roots are on the Maluku island of Saparua. When I listen to this beautiful song for the 1st time I found similarities with our Moluccan songs and melodies.
