Richard Ramirez married Doreen Lioy in 1996 at San Quentin State Prison, 11 years after they first met. Doreen was obsessed with Ramirez, despite his notorious criminal history. Media reports suggest that in 2009, after learning shocking details about one of Ramirez's victims and reviewing new evidence, Lioy allegedly severed ties with the convicted murderer. However, there were no official reports of a divorce. Interestingly, a New York Times article published at the time of Ramirez's death in 2013 indicated that he was still legally married to Lioy at that time.

I know I already commented on this video,but I just want to say that Ritchie looks absolutely adorable in this video! I,very watched it many times, and the look in his eyes,and his sweet smile,sprinkled with a touch of shyness just tells me that he WAS capable of loving people,and I just wish SO much that his wedding day could have been SO different! in a sacred place, with a sacred sermon and a beautiful honeymoon with his new wife, imo,he deserved ALL of these things and i,m just SO,so sorry that he was never given the chance to experience these things in a very special way,RIP Ritchie,we love you❤ 0:50
