So many great memories. That will always be my favorite championship because it was the first. I never could have imagined growing up in CT, that it could ever be possible. I remember the old Allen Field house. You could actually go to any game you wanted and sit right behind the bench. I am dating myself but if you told me this would be a national program I would say you are crazy.

He’s a case study of staying instead of going pro. He improved his draft value, his game and got a championship. I’m worried that a large chunk of this year’s team will be spending next year languishing in the G League because they overestimated their readiness for the NBA. UConn needs more Rips, Rays, Donyells, Okafors and Kembas. Not Bouknights, Deandre Daniels, Khalids or all the other Huskies who bolted early and did nothing,
