Chandelier turned out nice. It's a big project cleaning a Chandelier but oh they are beautiful when clean. No, maybe not a super exciting week, but sometimes there is comfort and joy in the everyday tasks we do.

As someone who has had burnout I can tell you that you will know if it happens: nausea that builds as the time to leave for work approaches each day; waking with a feeling of utter dread at the thought of having to go in; nightmares about feeling out of control at work so that you wake feeling exhausted as though you've actually already worked a full shift; driving to work and dreaming of a car crash that would prevent you having to go in; being so busy at work that you never feel in control so you end up feeling as though you're not good enough; etc etc. It took me several weeks off work, ongoing counselling, and a gentle return to work program.

I'm sorry to hear you went through that experience. My role is demanding and there are some days when I don't feel like doing it, but I'm certainly not experiencing burnout.

I really enjoyed this Richard. Thank you. I also found the early morning you very funny yet you still managed to look so fresh the next day! Chandelier didn’t look unclean… however… the finished product looked stunning so when you know… you know… I’m off to sort mine out now! Inspired 😂Looking forward to your next instalments! I love the de-bobbler, that looks like great fun. Compressed air in a can used for cleaning computer keyboards would be ideal for removing dust on the chandeliers. Take care. X

Hi Richard. The chandelier looks good. I also love the light pattern made by the prisms. I bought a pair of crevice brushes from Amazon that you might like. they are very narrow stiff bristled brushes, very handy for house and car cleaning. Have a great week.

Richard get yourself a slim bottle brush they work a treat for jobs like chandeliers also the straw cleaners are great dose the job in no time next time you come back to cheshire you can pop by mine and do mine 😉 looks great

Hi Richard, As always, wonderful to hear about your week ☺️ I'm sorry to hear you've been so busy and working so many hours at work. I completely agree, that it can get frustrating when there is little time to relax or be creative. Another week gone….thanks Richard I’ve just finished listening (while watching the Stones on tv 😂)sorry but Mick still does it for me 🤷‍♀️🙄 I enjoyed your storm film, it was a terrible night and I spent most of it hidden under the duvet,even though as you said it was quite warm…..When we lived on a farm my mother would turn all the mirrors round and hide the cutlery???? and proceed in scaring all 6 kids to death by hiding herself under the stairs, what a bonkers mother……she was lovely really but anyway I’m still scared of storms and can never watch out the window, so was fascinated by your footage and I have to say it looked remarkable!!! Luckily I hid my problem from my own kids so at least i didn’t pass the fear on to them thank goodness!!! I was impressed with your thorough clean of the chandelier…..If that was mine it would have just had a dusting with the feather thingy!!!😂 Have a good bank holiday weekend both and take care

I knew someone who was also very frightened of storms and used to do similar. We were brought up with no fear of them at all.

Oh Richard the cold caller was absolutely hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣 I have a similar chandelier, youve made me want to clean mine now. Luckily some of the drops and chains do detach. Have a great week x
