Hi Marty. I just got my new Seagull Decathlon assembled. Getting ready to maiden it tomorrow. Just curious, what were the throws set at? The ones in the manual seem a bit aggressive given the Decathlon's reputation for stalling and rolling on takeoff.

Here's Richard's reply: I don't have the measurements handy, but if he is going to Maiden today, just tell him to tame that elevator down even more than what is listed in the book for initial flight. I did not have a problem with the rudder or ailerons, although the ailerons are a bit Twitchy if you don't use enough Expo. A gyro will help that a lot, just use plenty of gain.
