A product of Chet's influence. He learned from Chet's ability to play rhythm and melody at the same time, but on steroids! Look for him playing with Tommy Emmanuel. Two of Chet's greatest prodigy's.

No matter how articulate this man is on guitar, all he's doing is getting his one leg moving. I don't see anyone in the audience getting up to dance, what music is all about. I could unplug my guitar and jump off the stage onto the dance floor or into the audience to move around and get back up and everyone's getting off on it. I also think he should have dressed a little nicer, being a style-setter or at least more formal than his audience.
@wecanonlywish91942 жыл бұрын
Nonsensical statement, my man. How he dressed for the concert? Scheeez.. Dancing, is what music is about? This is a seated concert! People have come to LISTEN to him perform..not jump up in an aisle, and make spectacle's of themselves! It's NOT dance music..it's a musical PERFORMANCE of skill and humor. Man...get a grip, instead of a critical opinion as to what shoes he's wearing!
@Guitar11player Жыл бұрын
I'll bet that the last song Richard played here can not be played by any other guitarist on earth. Superb! If you think you are this good then try it and we will see who the real master of the guitar really is, It's... of course...Richard Smith! Damn, I swear I saw smoke coming out of his guitar as he played the literal hell out of his instrument!
