指揮がサイモンラトルのベルリンフィル、コンマスが安永さんですね！主席ホルンがシュテファンドール。同じくホルンにはラデクバボラークも、サラウィリスもいます。この会場にいらした方々はさぞかし幸せだったと感じます！

バボラークが5番ホルン、、、どんだけ豪華なの、、、

金管は他にもホルン元首席のハウプトマンが4th、トランペット首席のタルケヴィが1st、ヴァレンツァイがinEsの1st、前年まで首席だったクレッツァーが3rd、トロンボーン首席のオットが1st、ゲスリングがテナーホルン、チューバのヒュンペルと首席が7人、元首席が2人乗っていますね。 間違いなくベルリン・フィルの金管の全盛期の演奏だと思いますしこんなにフルメンバーが揃うこともほぼないでしょう。 生で聞けた方が羨ましいです。

Sir Simon gave this piece every last note over which Strauss labored, for Richard knew his worth, in spite of his spiteful critics, and in this piece at Sir Simon's and the Berliner' hands, all that is good in Richard Strauss is sounded out more triumphantly than any other performance I have ever heard. I only wish I knew what year this was performed, and if not in Berlin, then where?
