Richard Strauss: Horn Concerto No. 2 in Eb major, Piano

It is so good that finally there is an accompaniment without solo version of the 2nd Strauss Horn concerto on KZbin. As a horn player I just tried it. It’s fine but let me tell some advices about it. - When you make an accompaniment video the player who tries it wants to know if they can play the piece together with the accompaniment but of course they know the pianist/orchestra is not an alive person so in this case they don’t want to play too much ritenuto/accelerando/G.P. during they play it. It’s better to play the whole piece in the same tempo. Playing with so much artistry can be possible with an alive pianist only. - During the 2nd movement 6 clicks would be better than 2. - At the beginning of the 3rd movement 2 clicks are not enough to breathe comfortably. I recommend you to change it to 4 clicks. Anyway, it’s fine! Congratulations!
