11pm. I look out the window. Clear skies. 'Ah well...see what happens.' 12am. Woke up, far too hot and sticky to stay asleep. Look outside, and see near constant lightning off in the distance. 'Oh yes...' Even more impressive than the near constant rumbling of thunder and the lightning, was the downpour that came with the storm. Haven't experienced rain that heavy in a very long time. That was monsoon level rain. Thanks for uploading this video, certainly was a lively couple of hours. 👍

Paul sort of woke me up...and the autopilot, KZbin whore in me, propelled my half asleep ass out of bed. The camera literally flew into my hands. I had to cut several minutes out in the edit as they were completely out of focus...I was rambling along to blurred footage. Oh the joys of being a storm junkie!

We woke to a deafening thunder clap, then a torrential down pour. Then came the lightning all around us, we were running from the front to the back of the house, the boys were saying ohh wow, it was very strange as it was coming from everywhere. You sounded just like me last night. I loved it. Thanks Richard xx

I think i remember this storm as stayed up to watch it coming as i was tracking it. I knew it was getting closer when the lightning became more frequent and the wind picked up. It threw it down after that.

I just recently became a subscriber so I'm new to your and Paul's channel, from there I then went to see how long your channel had been around and of course from there to facebook. I was really taken back by your sky photos they are really Beautiful!! I'm no poet so of course words fail me to properly do them justice in praising them, your work and talent. So I will not even attempt it, but know I Love it and will go over to facebook and admire it. 😉 Thank you both for sharing your talents and knowledge in the garden much appreciated!

We had rain this morning. After a couple of days of low 30s C, it was finally cool enough to put on the dishwasher. Mine is a full sized portable, so the water goes in the sink. Great storm coverage!
