Storm - Early Hours of Thursday 2nd May 2024 - London

This storm woke me up so i decided to take some video - I'm half asleep so please excuse the poor filming! This is the first big storm that we've had in London this year - lots of lightning, heavy rain but not so much thunder.

I'm in Edmonton, North London and this was an amazing storm. I was awake before it started around 4am as I'd been tracking it on the lightning app from late evening as it came across the channel from France. If I know there's a storm coming I can't sleep. Love your storm videos.

I live on the South East Coast, We had the continuous lightning and rumbles of thunder, but had no rain, l do thank you for videoing it as l do like to watch your video of the storms😊

Watched this coming up from the Channel on my lightning tracker app. Here in Hatfield, Hertfordshire we missed the worse of the storm but still plenty of lightning and a fair amount of thunder. Unfortunately I wasn’t brave enough to watch the storm on my own the whole time. Used to get my Mum to watch them with me…but sadly she died nearly 5 weeks ago.

Hi guys. I left for work very early this morning so missed it all. I have a friend in Pimlico who texted me this morning while i was at work, she said it started around 4.30 am, plenty of lightning and the thunder woke her up. I cant believe i didn't hear anything but a few hours later i was walking around site and it had been pouring so i missed all the action! 😕

In de nacht van zondag op maandag om 05.15 hadden wij een ongeloofelijke harde onweer enhagelen regen!de bliksem sloeg 2x in .waarschijnlijk in een boom vlakbij! De kat was erg bang -X ik woon in Nederland/zuid holland en voor vandaag donderdag word alweer storm verwacht met harde windvlagen en onweer, ik ben er bang van ! Maar vind t voor mijn kat erger. One of the first videos I watched on your channel was a thunderstorm 😂 the only time I can watch lightning.. Yesterday and today have been quite sunny apart from the cool breeze on the Lincolnshire coast. Hopefully no thunderstorms 😬
