@@tommyfortress7515 good to know that it's specific instead of towards anyone, but i think it was a reference to how certain guns have bullets so fast that if you hear them you aren't the one getting shot at because if you were you'd already be dead. A good example is the a-10 warthog, a ridiculously fast minigun mounted on a really fast plane, which means that when a burst is fired you first hear the tapping of the bullets hitting the ground and then the BRRRRT of the explosion from the gun barrel.

I'm a little late to the party, but I'll give my advice on Cloaker attacks. There are two kinds of ways they attack that trigger in different ways: the charge and the jump kick. The charge is simple. When a Cloaker sees a potential target at close-to-medium range, they'll let out their tell-a-tale *WOO-LOO* and run towards the player. They never stop until they reach their target or their target is too far to keep engaging. Of course, the latter can only be achieved with a high speed stat as Cloakers are very quick. The last thing to know is that once the Cloaker does his attack animation, then the player _will_ be downed. It doesn't matter how far he is, what objects are between the two of them, or if there's the corner of a wall in the way; the player goes *down* once the animation happens. When the Cloaker successfully charges the target, then he'll stay in place over or near the body to continue pummeling them. The jump kick is a bit more interesting. This happens at close ranges when there is a low-to-medium height object between the player and the Cloaker. The Cloaker will not do his trademark sound and immediately preform a flying jump kick to the target. Unlike the charge attack's animation though, this attack _can_ be avoided by moving perpendicular away from the kick. He'll still leave a smoke bomb if he misses however. Another important thing is that when a Cloaker successfully jump-kicks a target, he will _not_ pummel the downed player. This is an especially vital time for the downed player to warn a Cloaker got him as said Cloaker will usually stay near said player. Anyone who gets close to the downed player may end up with a sudden baton in the face from a cloud of smoke. I hope this gives a clearer understanding on how Cloakers work. Remember to "check your corners!"

Also if you’re playing loud with ai team and you’re about to get an extra 12 levels for your crime spree as you go to escape. There is a 100% chance that a cloacker will down you, glitch and then some how get out of the smacking animation and down the ai reviving you causing you to fail.

Cloakers, with a faceplate like the skulldozer's, can spawn through windows and openings in very tight spaces, have a lot of body hp, with a plate armor on front only, (lightweight), brings a DMR, able to take players to custody when the select player has been downed at least 1 time by the cloaker, moves 20% faster, and have cloak armor like the Predator in Alien vs. Predators. But, only spawns on Death Sentence and one down, and only 2 Max at any given time.

I actually really like the Cloaker. He's cool. If we were the police force instead of robbers (i could see that being really fun not a versus mode but like a spin-off) and we were any special unit I would be the Cloaker. How it would work is you can use the kick, but afterwards you have to beat them for 10 seconds. Then the kick begins to recharge for 30 seconds UNLESS there is a heister immediately near you. Like a few feet away.

I want to note that when the Cloaker does go for its charge attack it also activates it NVGs which you even hear before the more terrifying sound of the charge, don't know why they would do that as the NVGs do light up when they charge making them more vulnerable to headshots plus NVGs outside of night would more than likely blind the person wearing them due to how bright they would be when seeing through them during the day or well lit rooms.

I was on day 2 of Big Oil, I was hiding in a room after Bile activated the alarm getting the prototype when I noticed the cloaker standing behind an opened door. With his goggles and feet sticking out but what made it worse was how fucking tall he was. Legit stretched from the floor to the roof 6 feet tall. The sight of him took me 12 seconds to adjust to what I was watching however I still got a straight kick to the jaw.

*!HERE IS A TIP FOR EVERYONE!* I’m fairly new yet found this out in my own. If you or a teammate is caught in a smoke screen or new one, on PS5/Xbox, spam your mark button. This will allow you to mark the Cloaker without outing yourself in too much risk. I’ve also used this to clear rooms of cloakers, this will also mark other special units like bulldozers/juggies. Now I think I’ve got a bank to rob, good luck.

You forgot to mention that acing the Counterstrike skill gives you the ability to counter Cloaker charges. What's not to love?

Counterstrike Basic allows you to counter any melee from regular enemies by charging your melee weapon. Counterstrike Aced allows you to do the same to Cloaker kicks, also by charging your melee weapon

The aced version alone I would think make it worth the investment. It should also be mentioned that neither versions of Counterstrike work with the Weapon Butt melee. The best few melee weapons are all chargable: Katanaor El Machete, either electical melee weapons, and the Kunai, although Morningstar I heard was decent for its knockdown. The electrical weapons are basically your own little pocket tazer. The others (aside from morningstar) come out quick and deal decent damage without charge, including the Kunai's poison. The machete from Sangres is basically a more concealable katana.

well, electric weapons are superior melee in whole game, take hostages easily, stun cloakers, stun tazers, stun medics...
