"Regardless of difficulty, there's a 50% chance a Bulldozer that spawns is a Black Dozer" is incorrect and only applies to Very Hard and OVERKILL (don't use the Wiki for these things). The spawn chance is divided by the amount of variants: Normal/Hard: Green (100%) Very Hard/OVERKILL/Mayhem: Green (50%) Black (50%) Death Wish: Green (25%) Black (25%) Skull (25%) Minigun (25%) Death Sentence: Green (20%) Black (20%) Gray (20%) Minigun (20%) Medic (20%) Regarding Medic Dozers, "will only spawn IF medics + medic dozers is less than 3." is incorrect, they're just added to the Dozer spawn rotation and count only as Dozers, how they spawn is exactly the same as with all the others. If you thought it was this way because of Crime Spree, it's just bad wording on OVK's part, they're just affected by Dozer and Medic modifiers there, they don't "count" as both. Addtionally, all Dozers can be stunned with ECM feedback and Counterstrike basic (pretty sure that both are unintended, especially the former with how buggy it is). And lastly, NPCs can't reload while moving. This greatly affects Dozers due to their tendency to move around and "chase" criminals. This will render the headless variant and the Minigun Dozer completely useless if you bait them to empty their magazines by peeking then hiding, since they take forever to reach their waypoint. This can also be used against the Blackdozer very easily thanks to their 7-round magazine, and to a lesser extent with the Green and Skulldozer.

Honestly really sad that the Bulldozer used to slowly engage the player and only attack from range, unless provoked on the old Death Wish difficulty. Now they just rush the player constantly with a high spawn rate, which makes them more annoying than actually challenging to deal with. OVERKILL fucked up the Bulldozer.

There is one important thing about Dozers that probably should be mentioned. When a Dozer spots a player at medium range, then they can do a full-on charge towards them. This even ignores some of the navigation rules for cops altogether as they'll enter rooms and spaces cops usually have trouble entering. This can make things problematic when the team are defending a small space. The good news is this can be taken to your advantage. They always try to charge at a straight line and at a set distance. This makes them very predictable for aiming and can even be used to bait them away from their police buddies.

It's an example of how stupid the AI became for Bulldozers. They actually used to hold their ground from a distance and wouldn't rush the player unless they were provoked. Now they just rush the player constantly. Just makes the Bulldozer merely an annoying Cloaker with absurdly high health. Would like the old Bulldozer tactics back.

Probably because they have high pain tolerances (and under armor), but the taser guy probably uses a high voltage taser. The taser does continual damage on you and stuns , while a bullet you can get shot a few times and evade it.

Well, the pain tolerance thing is not even enough to shrug off point blank buckshot, and even with armor, the bullet may not penetrate, but would still draw blood. As for the taser, it isnt designed to hurt. Its designed to tense up your muscles and prevent you form moving.

Back when they were first added, the idea was to have a "tank" type enemy that could soak up and deal a lot of damage but didn't move very fast, one that would require team effort to take down. Now they hardly soak up any damage and you can easily wake up with one rushing right next to you.

another tip for dealing with them by kiting around them. Just like shields, the dozer can't catch up with you running around them UNLESS they are running themselves. For some reason all units have faster turning speed whilst moving and much slower when standing still.

Another, maybe less than preferred way of dealing with bulldozers quickly is a strong melee build. Sociopath/Infiltraitor damage mult + bloodlust + pumping iron aced usually lets you 2 to 3 shot bulldozers with a strong melee weapon. Handy if you're guns aren't great at dealing with dozers.

11:15 Last I tried, as long as the dozer's face is exposed, shooting anywhere on the head will do the bonus headshot damage. It's how I've been able to help take out quite a few bulldozers when a buddy's taken the plate and visor off.

All bulldozers have plates in both sides and back of the head, however, once they're removed (as well as the faceplate/visor), you can deal full headshot damage from any angle.

Note that after the faceplate and visor is broken. Any hit on the head at any angle is counted as a headshot not just the front.

Honestly, Green Dozers that have reinfelds are a stoic build's best friend. They do way over your health in damage (death wish+) so while those ticks might just show your whole health bar, that thing goes on for a while after what is shown. Basically if you see one; get shot once, insta murder him with crits, and hit 3. Unless you're 20% or less, you've got a full health bar now. No matter what.

As a desperate measure to clear out dozers, with anarchist if you have a high damage, high capacity weapon like LMGs or drum mag AKs you can tank even minigun dozers in death wish for a while, if they dont have a lot of supporting units nearby you can even walk up to their face and empty your mag in their face to kill them, i only use this as a desperate measure when they get very dangerously close however as the retreat back is pretty tricky since you will have little to no armor left.

It would be nice if each variation of the dozer had some kind of effect like the kill dozer actually was more aggressive, and the green one would be more focused on disabling objectives. And the dozers should only charge when they take too much damage or their faceplates get destroyed. Anyways great video Richard!
