My goodness my gal and our youngest went out yesterday and today and caught 16 crappies between 13-15.75 inches we kept and our whole family is eating good we also let a couple dozen good ones go and a few small ones! We are so blessed and while our fish cook we watch your channel and life is good Richard keep catching those crappie love your channel!

Hey man, thanks for showing some fishing from the bank. I love the boat videos, but I don't often have access to a boat or kayak (only on the weekends) and I love going fishing on random banks after work. I don't often catch stuff from the bank so it's really awesome and encouraging to see you catching anything, let alone those slabs. Tight lines.

Please tell us how you tell the difference between a male or female crappie. And also a black or white crappie. Thanks. You the man !! I learn from every video.

What I learned from this channel is that white crappies have vertical (like stripes) patterns along their bodies, but black crappies have random spots. At spawn season, male crappies got a lot darker because of their hormone levels. However, do not know how to differentiate between males and females if not spawn season.

we tried to get on Crappie this year at Douglas lake, but the only thing we could figure is that the cold fronts pushed them out deep, we tried everything we usually do whenever we limit out.

From my experience, bank fishing bodies of water that are smaller and shallower tend to be much better early spring because they warm up quicker......I can’t find em in huge lakes with the temperature flux. But I’m not RGTFM.
