Also, just wanted to share real quick, my 16 year old daughter and I are best fishing buds. I hooked into a BIG blue cat and let her fight it. We lost it just at the dock as I was reaching down to grab it. My girl was devastated. She cried and cried and wanted to give up. I said, "Richard Gene caught 3 big blue cats in one day. There might be more in here." I'll be switched if we didn't land 2 big ones after that. Hers a 34" and mine a 26". Watching your videos has given us confidence in our fishing and it inspires us to keep going. Thanks a lot for all the great videos. We learn a lot and you make us laugh. C’mon RG!!! That’s what I’m talking about right there!!...I’ve been watching this man for several years , and I can 100% say he’s taught me how to crappie fish (not that I’m good at it haha, but I can now catch a few). But more importantly is the example he sets in each video of being a Godly man. No he’s not preaching or condemning but the way he carries hisself is a testament of faith. This is the most I’ve heard him talk about his faith, but I always knew he was follower of Christ by his speech and demeanor, and it encourages me so so much to see a man live the way this man does. I hope you won't mind a total stranger such as myself responding to your message, as it concerns people going to Church, but not receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. There's a huge danger in hearing The Gospel, but never receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. A person can become so "Gospel-Hardened" (That is, they can be dealt with by the Holy Spirit, and yet reject him so many times) that one day, they never feel that same dealing again. That is the worst type of tragedy that I personally can think of! I'm glad I can still feel the drawing of God's Spirit, and I know that ha has been patient with me.
