eBay busted SC 52 fs engine fix

eBay purchase turned out to be broken despite being listed as good working order. turned out to be a broken valve adjustment screw which are no longer available. i had an idea that the o.s version may be compatible and Just engines confirmed the fix , now the engine runs very nicely. the vendor of the engine agreed to pay for the parts needed and was very helpful. the super custom four stroke .52 cu rc model engine is destined for a 1/5 scale piper cub.

Your talent is impressive. From a prurient perspective - how do you deal with a seller who claims "good working order" and you know they know it wasn't ?

Be honest and polite with them. I explained the problem clearly with photos and suggested a solution. The seller was happy to help.

Those SC & ASP engines really filled a gap for those of us who don’t want to go electric - real pity they aren’t available any more. Nice video - always a good feeling to get a faulty engine running again :)
