You sound and move like my favourite teacher when I was a teenager, movement on the painting was your own movements and seeing times and colours. So refreshing to see. Very enjoyable to watch the enthusiasm! Brings so many good memories. I've been selling artwork for many years but I've been working back to what my teacher taught me but didn't know if it works. You given me confidence. Well done.

So glad i found this channel. I can be really picky about art and i looove your style. I personally paint too slow and tight. Sometimes i've been in the groove and finished quickly. Those tend to be the "keepers".

G'day mate, didn't that turn out awesome. I was floored when you mentioned mainly using a brush but you snuck the old palette knife in to return things to order LOL. A brilliant exhibition of how brush and palette knife can work in tandem to achieve the look you want. Love the tone and colour in the foreground, those rocks pop. I'm always taken by how you make the distant headlands appear to be detailed in your paintings, well worth a close up look. Inspirational once again Richard. Cheers Rich
