You're work is inspiring enough to follow to the letter and still enjoy every step of the way. Great informative video, definately one of the best growers I prefer watching alongside Charles Dowding. Picture this, before I realised my passion for growing microbes i had no space to grow anything as everything had already been covered up with cament and sand. Now I'm growing veg in raised beds and milk crates building inches upon inches of top soil putting the borehole water to proper use. Saving up for a piece of land to start a market garden and hopefully a layer enterprise. Plan on doing a strawberry project this spring followed by green peppers and watermelon in the summer. Wish me luck.

QUESTION: How do you feel about using a natural vegetable wash as the dunk liquid? I used water, apple cider, and lemon juice at my restaurants when I lived in California and depended on mass growers.

You talk about your market, how you go market price + markup. Q - why based on the value you claim you make, plus your own 'currency' are you not a market maker and setting the price?
@regenerativeagriculture
@regenerativeagriculture 3 жыл бұрын
we certainly have been price setters for eggs, chicken, etc, there wasn’t anything like this going on here when we started out. same with veg to some degree, but my sense is veg is still less valued generally here...

I'd love to start a market garden with thick compost but was told that 10cm thickness exceeded the legally allowed amount per 3 year period on agricultural land... by a factor of 50! What would you propose to work with that limitation? Obviously I'd like to avoid tilling. Currently planted to peas.

Can you avoid calling it compost and say it is a soil, or a soil amendment?

You need to get a cranky elderly lady as a temporary worker, making calls to officials and raising a royal stink. You have all the facts and figures in the world at your disposal. They are completely insane, and that’s the best case scenario, not necessarily the most likely, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. Deep mulch no-till market garden versus industrial chemical monoculture (which I assume is allowed)?
