As a Seahawks fan, this kills me to say this, but Brock Purdy will be just fine. That Ravens' defense was insane yesterday, and every QB has an off game. We've seen Mahomes unravel in primetime and Purdy has way too many weapons not to bounce back. Just be glad the team faced the Ravens in the regular season because there is a pretty good chance you'll meet them in the SB, and at least adjustments can be made

Seahawks/49ers rivalry back with the legion of boom was almost as hard fought and vitriolic as the Cowboys/49ers rivalry of the 90s. I really don’t like the Seahawks because you probably kept us from a getting our 6th super bowl but man those matchups back in the day between our 2 teams were like the battle of the Titans. Despite the pain of you guys ultimately getting the better of us they were fond memories with 2 stellar teams in the same division.

Niner fan here. I think Purdy will be fine. Everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop with him. I don’t think it will happen. Give credit to the Ravens. The Ravens are real good. The Ravens defense reminds me of a great defensive team in the NBA that disrupts all of the passing lanes. That’s what the Ravens did. They seemed to know what was coming and they just disrupted everything the Niners tried to do in the passing game. They jumped every route. Kyle abandoning the run early made it even worse.

It was a match they needed to have, despite the loss they will learn from it and should be better prepared going forward, mistakes were made, missed tackles, picks, penalties all contributed to a game that would be hard to recover from, John Harbaugh is a great coach, and took a page out of Kyles play book dominate apply pressure, create and take opportunities, and compete to win 49ers are also a great team they will bounce back from this and go on

As I posted on Lombardi's channel: I'll be honest...In my opinion after winning a lot of games by a lot of points it seemed the 49ers got a little complacent. Poor tackling, silly penalties and Kyles play calling got VERY predictable. This loss is a blessing in disguise..it cost us NOTHING we still have the #1 seed and I'm betting it shook this team awake just in time for the playoffs to start and it has made the 49ers hungry again. Thank you Baltimore you did us a HUGE favor. You win a game that in the grand scheme of things means practically NOTHING to us and in return you give us the will to fight back. As far a Brock goes it was inevitable that he have a game like this at some point ALL QB's do.....now his is out of the way and he can get back to the greatness that he has exemplified his whole career. This monday night loss sucks and it hurts but time to move on from it and I hope niners bounce back by this Sunday against the commanders. I admit brock made mistakes but I mainly blame kyles play calling. Kyle's play calling was total trash and niners didn't run the ball much at all. Once the run game disappeared the Ravens d just smothered and cooked the niners offensive line and there was tons of penalties and also injuries. Like I said I'm already over this loss and I still love my niners and they will bouce back and hopefully they will this sunday against the commanders at thier home turf. Fix Kyle’s play calling. No one needs to be humbled, learn a lesson, etc. Kyle needed to design run plays with creative blocking. To keep on passing when the passes obviously were not connecting was insane. There are games where Kyle hardly gives CMC a break, yet he went to a passing game with a desperate O-line that allowed pressure on Purdy. I thought they would correct this after half, but no!

Not really Seahawks cut him and Sherm has said years ago the reason he picked the 49ers because the moment news broke out he was released from Seahawks Kyle Shanahan immediately called him up personally and told him he wanted him on his team. I'm kind of glad that Purdy is out of the MVP discussion, because it's been nothing but a distraction anyways. A big part of the reason they lost this game was because Shannahan schemed his gameplan to make Purdy the star, instead of sticking with what has made them successful on offense throughout this entire season. I think they threw the ball eight out of their first ten offensive plays, and it never felt as if there was an effort made to establish the running game. I'll remind everyone that in Lamars MVP year in 2019, he threw vs the Stealers for 165 passing yards & 3 INTs. I believe Ravens Def won them that game. Brock threw for 255 yards and 4 INTs. Combine a solid, talented opponent (Baltimore) with a well thought out strategy with a series of debilitating injuries one after the other, with a series of just bad luck (tipped balls) and ... it doesn't mean that the 49'ers stink or that Purdy is mediocre to bad. It means, they got their tails wupped and now on to the next one. Folks who had a clue said all along, esepcially AFTER the 3 game losing streak they had, that the 49'ers are the best team in football WHEN and IF everyone stays healthy. That was not the case. It wasn0't their worst game, and not as good as it could have been, even with all thse injuries, but there are 2 more games and then the playoffs. Kudos to the Raven, they did a good job taking care of business.

This is exactly why he wasn’t MVP caliber this year to me. Yeah, he’s been number 1-2 in major stats, but the choking when playing from behind is a major Achilles heel so far. Yes, against the Browns, he got them in FG range which was then missed from 41 yards, but the other losses before last night… playing from behind, without their playmakers 100% healthy, and yesterday, he just looks frazzled and not clutch when they need him to be.

Niners didn't run nearly as much as they should have and tried too much in the air with a very aggressive Ravens D which busted them up again and again. Bad play calling. McC should have had at least double the run plays he got. The let the Ravens dictate the game and the score shows perfectly how well that worked. Next time they meet will be different.

The MVP in that game was Baltimore defense. Lamar played mediocre. The niner still could of won that game needed to stopped the turned overs, and run the ball more. Our defense played well just couldn't keep up due to our turned overs.
