Sorry. My internet is extremely slow and almost unusable lately. I can barely share this video that I already uploaded last week. My internet will be this way for at least 5 more days. Current location is Sosua, Dominican Republic.

I'm in the new garden as I type. The internet barely works though. I've tested the internet problems in other hotels on this street and they all have internet problems. The bar seen is about the same as before, but there are the same police that keep walking the streets and checking the IDs of the ladies. When the Haitian ladies seen the police they run away in big groups. I kept thinking about taking video in the clubs, but I'd have to try to be very discrete with that. I'm not sure if I'll try that though. I recorded video of the beaches today. I might make a video of walking around the town, but I'd need my buddy walking behind me. I know there are a lot of people here that don't want to be in my videos.

I'm now watching this in 2021 and wondering why you think the radio sucks. What did you expect in a French island? Local radio stations don't cater to English speakers/tourists on a French island. Too much. lol

The main roads ( they are called Nationales) are very good and well maintained. However, when you venture into the country side or local roads. Things will get complicated... you will meet pot holes, a lot of them, roads without markings...roads without tarmac. And no street lighting on these roads.🤭
@mondingo672 жыл бұрын
@1st class E.U.Isle[St Bart]-FrenchWestIndies Nah you muppet. The narrator was generalising about the state of the roads in Guadeloupe which I thought was unfair. So I chimed in with my experience as i am a former resident of Guadeloupe. In case you haven't noticed KZbin is a public platform where people like myself are able to comment. And unfortunately the KZbin comment section, sometimes makes muppets like you feel that they can write some dumb comment.

Do you have suggestion for a expats, foreigners or locales Facebook page, whats app group , Telegram group etc. That I could join to see what's going on around the island?

12:10 Google Maps lost you. It's better to use Waze in Guadeloupe. You could have just made a U turn in the roundabout.

Yes, Guadeloupe is a French overseas department and has the same status as Metropolitan France. Therefore it's an integral part of the EU.

Is it my imagination, or does Martinique seem to be nicer, cleaner and more colorful than Guadeloupe?
@exelmans88556 жыл бұрын
Steven Carrier yes it's your imagination
@meschoui7604 жыл бұрын
It depends. Martinique is called "l'île aux belles fleurs" (island of beautiful flowers), Guadeloupe is called "l'île aux belles eaux" (island of beautiful waters) that's probably why Martinique looks more colourful but Guadeloupe has more diverse landscapes. So I guess it's only personal preference. Both Islands are nice IMO.
