My hawkins was loosing steam, I thought the sealing ring had gotten too wide, they are hard to find here in the Netherlands. Your video pointed me to the bolts in the handle: One was missing (I found it on the kitchen floor), the other was loose. I had not noticed it at all. Now it works again. Thank you!

Thankyou didi .Maine 5 sal pahle ye kharida tha. Par lock down me yahi same problem shuru hua. Shop khulne ke bad se Maine 2 jagah dikhaya fir bhi problem vaise hi tha. Par aapke videose Maine gharparhi Mera problem sall hua .thanku.

Thank you! This is very useful information. Ran into the exact problem - lid not closing properly even after changing gaskets, valve etc. Figured that the handle was loose but did not figure out that there are screws inside and that they were loose.

Can you tell me if the 3 litre handle from hawkins futura will fit 4 litre cooker please? I need new handle but no one is selling 4 litre handle. Only 3 litre handle (and 5 litre handle but that is a different shape)

This is very bad cooker. The screws are tight but its loose from the Whistle end hence Whistle not working.Purchased 2 months back from India. Very disappointed now i cant even fix it. Useless. do not buy
