He says you really need the high definition, uncompressed version of the footage to really appreciate the insanely world-class acting Bryan is doing and the subtle, almost imperceptable range of emotions he is putting forth--shock, fear, happiness, uncertainty, love, hate, worry--all in a few seconds. Vince said it's the best acting he's ever witnessed in person.

He was already world famous for his role as Hal in Malcolm in The Middle. That is what we call a once in a lifetime role. A role that as an actor, you could go to sleep satisfied that you ever got the chance to play that role even once in your career. The reason Bryan Cranston’s story is so fascinating is that he got a once in a lifetime role twice. Even if he had never played the role of Walter White he would have died a famous legendary actor for how he brought Hal to life. But he managed to get a second once in a lifetime role in a show and for this he will be immortalized as an actor and for me personally, my favorite actor of all time.

I realize this is an old comment, but it's arguably this scene that pushed Walter over that point of no return, partially because it was a betrayal of Jesse. Reminds me of my teach, the awesome Guitarist and God Father of Fusion Music, Larry Coryell, when he said, "When I practice I try to think as deeply as possible about of the the techniques and theory of music, but when I play I try to forget it all." Mr. Cranston is a far more intelligent man than I ever realized. Good work Sir.

Arguably one of the best actors in the world today. The fact he played Hal in Malcolm in the middle, who was just hysterical from beginning to end, then he plays Walter White...this guy just understands persona which I think is an absolutely incredible talent to have. Bravo Mr Cranston!

There were many sad moments in the series but this one stuck with me. I just watched it when I was 16 and never forgot about it. Made me cry for a while. I rewatched the series just recently at 23 and goddamn, it was just like I remembered. The acting, the writing, it's perfect and devastating. If that wasn't art I don't know what is

This is why I don’t think I could become an actor. Not because I couldn’t do it, I think I’d be great, but I anticipate that with so much reframing in your mind you’d have to do and truly adopting your script character as you that you’d have to do to be a good actor, I’m not sure I could emotionally keep my own sense of identity and grounding in reality.

That’s rough. Too many parents have had to experience their child dying from heroin and it’s just one of the most heartbreaking things ever. I have a tough past and worked for many rehabs and although I’m outta that industry now, I still get calls and messages all the time from some parent I have some acquaintance with, just begging me for advice or help to get their child off smack. It’s often too much to bear.

Heres the deal with the Jane scene. If Walter saved her she would have just gotten back into it, and likely cause jesse to follow the same route. Ultimately he did the right thing. He shouldn't have even been in the room at that time anyways. It was only through happenstance that he was there during that moment. Walter saved jesse on that day.

That really in itself shows the absolute range of talent Cranston has. To be in the industry for all those years, and at the age of 52 finally get involved in a serious crime drama series. It opened a whole new door for his career, and obliterated people's etched in memories of him just being that goofy dad from Malcom.
