The main reason why Henry want to be 007 is probably because he feels robbed Casino Royale director wanted Cavill so badly, but the producers thought he was too young, he was only 22yo so they went with Craig. According to the director said Henry will be perfect bond in the future, based on his audition, that proves his strong bond material since his younger age. By the time Bond26 is announced he'll be at the perfect bond age. His roles in Man from U.N.C.L.E when played a smooth classic agent, and now in 'Mission Impossible Fallout' in which he's playing a more ruthless modern bond-ish agent than Craig, it should put Cavill on top of next bond list. They should at least make one movie with Henry as 007, to see how his Bond will turn out or how it will be received by the audience.

Daniel Craig is too old now for Bond. Cavill _is the_ perfect 'modern' Bond for the next era. He's got all the sophistication and brutal hard case qualities - in spades. Jimmy Kimmel asked the same questions about why henry cheers for the Cheifs and repeatedly insulted Henry by saying how weird that was in a condescending tone. Henry's reasoning makes perfect sense and clearly his favourite super hero is Superman, he also named his dog Kal. I think its awesome. there are no teams for any sport where I live I'd wanna cheer for so if i was to get into a sport and pick a team, i think this is the next best way. Btw, Clint Eastwood was offered both the roles of Superman and James Bond back in the 1970s. He turned both down, because, according to him, "A man's got to know his limitations." It really happened, and he rejected the roles because he thought they wouldn't work for him.
