I think Josh Allen can change his story like how Peyton did with his defeat of Brady en route to his first. All he had to do was win one and the narrative on Peyton changed immensely. Allen's a really darn good QB that has lost some unfortunate playoff games. Without Mahomes and Reid (much like without Brady/Belichick) he'd have had a title by now. That's the wall. If he wins a title, the view on him is dramatically different. Lamar needs it badly as well, but Lamar has earned a lot of the criticism in those losses. When they lost the last AFC Championship, the prevailing thought entering it and leaving it was not what the Chiefs needed to do, but what Baltimore wouldn't. And that thought was not because of their defense, but primarily Lamar. When they got Derrick Henry, it was to avoid putting Lamar in the situation again we've been before. Where you are wondering when he's going to lose it, or "not" win it. I don't worry about that as much with Allen, showing up in the playoffs. So the big win is most important to Allen to remove any doubt about his qualities as a winner in the league. Allen isn't being handed MVP awards.

Pressure is dependent primarily on expectation. The expectation for the Rams, Vikings, Bucs, Texans, Commanders, Broncos etc is relatively low and thus an early exit wouldn't mean as much. Lamar Jackson. Josh Allen has similar pressure but he doesn't have the MVPs on his resume. Because of the multiple MVPs and poor playoff record, Lamar has a reputation as a playoff choker. That will never go away unless he wins a Superbowl. If he never wins one it will be part of the discussion on him forever. Mahomes has the least pressure. Yes, winning three in a row is a huge deal but he doesn't HAVE to do it. Now that Brady is retired we all immediately say "7 Superbowls". We don't say "eh, but he blew the undefeated season". The Superbowls he won gives him the reputation as the best. Mahomes can always add to his resume but no matter what his reputation will be strong unless he gets in OJ-like legal trouble. Now if KC makes the Superbowl, they have the bigger pressure facing the possible three-peat vs. the NFC team just trying to win.

Lemme say 2 things… 1. I think the biggest obstacle in the ravens way is the ravens… so many times I’m watching their games and it’s like watching a sitcom, just complete baboonery and imo they should be 17-0 this year, last year and the year before 2. Jimmy G didn’t play that bad week 18 considering he played with the bench, Sean was making us think it was apocalyptically bad

Rich is at the point where the game is passing him by. His definition of pressure is ridiculous. If we go by what hes definition of pressure is then no QB is under pressure 😂😂

Why is Rich still calling it Super Wildcard Weekend? They threw that out snd its just Wildcard Weekend. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are under the most pressure. I believe Lamar has a little bit more pressure on him than Josh does.

What pressure? It's all free money from here on in. Cash in while you can.

Good point about Sam. 14-3 is 14-3, but if you look back at who the Vikings have beaten (Giants, 9ers, Texans, Packers, Jets, Colts, Jags, Titans, Bears, Cards, Falcons, Bears, Seahawks, Packers) they’re not great. Only 2 playoff teams, and not great ones. He doesn’t show up against the Rams, the narrative will be same ole Sam 🤷🏾♂️.

Patrick Mahomes LOVES that Pressure other Quarterbacks FEAR... Ask yourself this, "If the Chiefs win the SuperBowl and Threepeat, do you think Patrick doesn't get on that podium and yells out, 'We Are Going For FOUR!!!'? I ABSOLUTELY Guarantee you he will push in ALL the Chips for Another SUPERBOWL... It's just his makeup, it's in his DNA, and he Revels in it...

Goff if we’re being honest. The Lions could lose some of their most important coaches / coordinators. Last year was their first chance and it got blown up. This is a historic season for the Lions, and they’re expected to make the absolutely most of it cus it could all be gone next season

Russell Wilson is playing for his career and my Steelers have languished in the playoffs, historically for many years now. Does he even get a shout out? Does he not also qualify for being pressured? Or have we just completely written the Steelers off like usual?
