As a Japanese woman..Kose is not highest cosmetic Japanese brand as Shiseido. But Kose got PR contact with Ohtani which lead Kose brand hit much moneys But mature women never into it. Ohtani is a real baseball athlete who made great efforts his play.

So if im understanding correctly theres two things happening here. First, and more importantly, he is the face of japan in the u.s. right now. At nearly every game he plays in there are japanese people who have traveled to come see him play. Second, he has open the average baseball fan's eyes to Japan. Not only their insane baseball scene, but also just the society itself. Advirtising all of the products at the game is not only to promote him, but promote the country as well. Really smart. Shohei is either the great baseball player to ever live or in the top five for everyone. So fun to watch, very humble, honestly a great ambassador for his country and the sport.

Someone asked if Shohei can get triple crown if he leads HR, AVG and Strike outs, as they are all triple crown items. Since there never was a single one man who did them all, they grouped these three categories in either batting or pitching but if its all UNDER ONE SINGLE MAN, couldn’t it be triple crown since it is in triple crown category and the stats belong to one same man…😊

It is Ace of Diamond for English translation. At first i was expecting the baseball drama Major as his favorite but cant go wrong with Slam Dunk, it is an iconic sports series. BTW Major is about a young boy named Goro Honda(later became Goro Shigeno) baseball journey from a young boy to the World series. I can totally see the similarities of Shohei and Goro both growing up, both trying to win the biggest high school baseball tournament and failing. Then gathering media attention for their accomplishments. Both expected to turn Pro but Ohtani was convinced to stay in Japan where as Goro was initially gonna stay in Japan but saw his late father's nemesis(and the one who caused the father's death with a fastball in the head) still pitching in the Majors and decided to go to America instead. Heck there is even an arc in which it is the WBC finals Japan Vs USA Goro vs Gibson jr.(similar to Ohtani vs Trout) but ended with US winning.

No, not stink, he's promoting foo foo skin lube and "healthy lifestyle" from Kosé's 2 flagship cosmetics brands. Pretty "weird" but then Jalen Green became a partner in nail polish brand Un/Dn Laqr in February 2023 so...... different times. Those ads are for Japan, they see ALL the Angels games and obviously pay to place ads that make bank in Japan because face it there is no market for Japanese cat stuff and skin grease here , would make no commercial financial sense to pay whatever the ad costs are in Anaheim. Sho makes it worth buying though - he's a human billboard. 👀
