There are two stories that circulate in Dalkowski's AAA stop every few years. 1. In Rookie ball, he knocked a guy (Bob Beavers, I think) out and tore some of his left ear off. 2. He once threw a pitch over the catcher's head, knocked out the umpire and broke his face mask in 3 places. Nobody ever seems to include the umpires name.

Love the story lines but Hollywood cannot stop themselves: 1. They allow actors to try to mimic the high level movements of professional athletes, and it always looks terrible. 2. They allow actors to fake accents. Neither works.
